Life Transitions Therapy

Growth Is Messy. You Don’t Have to Navigate It Alone.

Transitions—whether expected or sudden, joyful or destabilizing—can throw even the most grounded person off balance. You may feel like everything is shifting: your identity, your priorities, your relationships, your body, your time. You’re doing your best to keep up, but something doesn’t feel quite right.

In therapy, I offer a grounded, supportive space to process major life changes, reconnect with yourself, and find your footing again.

What Are “Life Transitions”?

Life transitions come in many forms—some chosen, some not. Common ones include:

  • Graduating college and entering the workforce

  • Moving to a new city or country

  • Shifts in career, job loss, or starting a new role

  • Ending or beginning a significant relationship

  • Becoming a parent or caregiver

  • Coming out or claiming a new identity

  • Grieving the loss of a loved one or way of life

  • Navigating illness, aging, or existential turning points

Even positive transitions can stir up anxiety, disorientation, or grief. Therapy provides space to metabolize all of it.

How Therapy Can Help

Transitions offer opportunities for deep growth—when held with care. I support clients in slowing down, tuning in, and integrating what change is asking of them.

My approach includes:

  • Psychodynamic Exploration to uncover the unconscious narratives, internal conflicts, and early relational patterns that shape how you respond to change

  • Somatic Approaches to help you regulate your nervous system, feel more grounded in your body, and process emotions beyond words

  • Motivational Interviewing to clarify goals and support action steps without judgment or pressure

  • Strengths-Based and Trauma-Informed Care to meet you where you are with compassion and build resilience from within

  • Relational and Systems-Aware Lens to explore how cultural, familial, and social dynamics intersect with your current transition
